CHICAGO — According to Chicago police, a 77-year-old man with a concealed carry license shot and killed a robber in Chicago on Saturday afternoon.
At 12:30 p.m., the elderly man was in a garage on East 89th near MLK in West Chesterfield when the assailant drove up and attempted to rob the man at gunpoint.
Instead of handing over his belongings, the elderly man pulled out a gun and shot the robber in the head and chest.
According to Chicago Police, the elderly man possesses a valid Firearms Owner Identification Card and a Concealed Carry License.
