CHICAGO — The Fifty/50 Group announced Monday that a new two-level restaurant will open in Chicago’s Willis Tower, former Sears Tower, during the second quarter of 2022.

Kindling, a char-house-style culinary experience, is being developed by EQ Office, a Chicago-based commercial real estate investment and management firm.

According to Casey Miller, a spokesman for EQ Office, the two-story, 12,500-square-foot restaurant will contain a 3,500-square-foot outdoor terrace at the corner of Franklin and Adams streets.  The menu will cost around $25 per person and offer rotisserie chicken, brisket, and halibut.  The cocktail menu will mirror the concept’s business-friendly yet lighthearted vibe, with a focus on classics and terrace favorites.

“Willis Tower is the ideal location for our group’s newest concept as we seek to infuse the sights, sounds, and aromas of the city our guests have missed the most during the pandemic,” said Scott Weiner, co-owner of the Fifty/50 Group, in a statement.
