GEORGIA GOLF COURSE SLAYINGS: TWO VICTIMS – MANHUNT OF SUSPECT BEGINS

ATLANTA, GA — Two more victims were discovered in the back of a pickup truck allegedly driven by the man who shot a pro golfer in Pinetree Country Club, in Atlanta’s Cobb County, on Saturday afternoon, prompting a manhunt in Georgia for an “armed and dangerous” suspect.

According to authorities, the suspect drove his pickup onto the green 10th hole and shot Gene Siller fatally in the head after he was approached by Siller.  Cobb County police stated Sunday night that two men were found dead in the back of the vehicle.  One of the victims has been identified as Paul Pierson, the truck’s owner, while the other man has yet to be recognized.  According to police sources both individuals had gunshot wounds.

Cobb County police describe the murderer as 6 feet tall with long hair wearing a light colored shirt and dark work trousers.

ATLANTA WOMAN SURPRISED BY AFRICAN SERVAL ON BED

ATLANTA – Georgia authorities are trying to locate an African serval a woman was awoken by the cat when it jumped on her bed.

Kristine Frank was asleep at her home in the Historic Bookhaven neighborhood of Atlanta Wednesday when she was awakened by an feline presence in her bed.

Frank believes the feline entered the home when Frank’s husband left the door open after letting their dog out.

Frank’s husband managed to usher the large cat out of the house.  The Georgia Department of Natural Resources believes the African servals was kept as an illegal pet by a local resident.  There have been several sightings in the neighborhood over recent days.

Although native to Africa, servals are legal to keep as exotic pets in the state of Georgia, but owners are required to obtain permits.
