CHICAGO — A woman was shot while sitting in a parked vehicle inside a Jewel-Osco supermarket on the Far South Side.
Chicago police said, around 10:40 pm on Wednesday, the female victim, 25, was shot while sitting in the backseat of a vehicle in the parking lot of a Jewel-Osco located in the 9400 block of South Ashland. The victim said a blue car approached her vehicle and opened fire for no reason.
The female victim was shot in the left arm and taken to an area hospital where she is listed in good condition.
