NEW YORK – Investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. announced today that it will acquire the Namsan Green Building, an office building located in South Korea.
The Namsan Green Building, constructed in 1994, is a 188,890-square-foot office building in Seoul that is centrally located near major transportation networks, including Seoul Station, and the Seoul Station Bus Transit serving the Greater Seoul area. Currently, the Namsan Green Building is the headquarters of SK Broadband, a subsidiary of SK Telecom, Korea’s largest wireless carrier1 and the telecommunications arm of SK Group.
KKR’s global real estate team manages nearly $65 billion in assets as of December 31, 2022. The transaction is expected to be completed in May 2023.
