CHICAGO – A man was charged with punching a 64-year-old woman on a Blue Line CTA platform in the Loop in January.
According to Chicago police, around 7:00 am, James Jackson, 55, allegedly punched a woman in the face on the Blue Line platform at 19 North Dearborn Street. Police said Jackson allegedly approached the woman on the platform and punched her in the face with a clenched fist for no reason.
Jackson was taken into custody on Thursday in the 1200 block of South Clinton Street and has been charged with aggravated battery of a transit passenger and aggravated battery of a victim over the age of 60.
