CHICAGO – A food delivery man was shot and seriously wounded Thursday in Humboldt Park. According to police, the 40-year-old victim was delivering food around 10:00 pm in the 3600 block of West Iowa Street when a man approached him and demanded his property at gunpoint. After a brief struggle the gunman was able to take the victim’s cash and cellphone before shooting the victim in the legs. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in serious condition. Police are investigating.
