CHICAGO – A man has been charged with setting a fire inside a building in the Uptown neighborhood on Chicago’s North Side.
According to Chicago police, around 6:20 pm, 49-year-old Toma Smith allegedly lit an “incendiary object” that caused a fire inside a building in the 1000 block of West Lawrence Avenue. Smith was arrested shortly after the event and charged with one felony count of aggravated arson.
