Man Stabbed and Others Hurt in Northwest Side Confrontation

CHICAGO – A man was stabbed Wednesday along with two others wounded during an attack outside a Northwest Side restaurant.

Chicago police said, around 8:50 pm, the three victims got into an argument with an unknown male suspect in the parking lot of Las Islas Marias at 3243 North Pulaski Road.

According to police, the male suspect allegedly brandished a sharp object and stabbed one of the male victims in the abdomen.  The stabbed victim was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

The two other victims attempted to intervene in the stabbing and were wounded as the suspect fled on foot.  The second victim suffered an injured wrist while the third victim suffered an injured elbow.  Both are listed in good condition.  Police are investigating.
