GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Grocery giant Meijer announced the expansion of its popular digital coupon and rewards program “mPerks” to make it even easier for customers to save cash on products.
The revamped mPerks program will offer personalized rewards and savings with customers earning points for every dollar they spend, including qualifying prescriptions filled. Meijer also said there will be additional opportunities to earn even more points.
“Meijer is committed to providing value and convenience for our customers, and the changes we’ve made to mPerks expands on both by offering more personalized savings, along with more opportunities to earn points. We want to ensure we’re continuing to provide personalized value while also making the experience fun and engaging.” Meijer Vice President of Customer Strategy Derek Steele said in a statement.
The new mPerks program is expected to roll out throughout January and February in the Midwest. According to Meijer, customers that are members of the current mPerks program saved more than $100 million on their purchases.
Current member’s unclaimed rewards will be rolled into the new mPerks program with the same value. However, in-progress rewards, as well as pharmacy credits, will be transferred to the new program as points.
