CHICAGO – The Washington Wizards defeated the Chicago Bulls 100-97 in Washington on Thursday. Bulls Zach LaVine missed an 18 footer in the last 2 seconds of the game but scored 38 points for the game. LaVine had tied the game at 97 during the fourth as the clock shot ran out. DeMar DeRozan missed his first game of the season due to a quadriceps strain.
Wizards Kyle Kuzma broke a tie game with a stunning 3-pointer sending our Bulls to the showers for the long silent trip home. Kuzma racked up 21 points with Anthony Gill adding 18 points and Monte Morris gaining 17 points.
Bulls face the Oklahoma City Thunder in Chicago at the United Center on Friday, January 13, at 7:00 PM CST
