CHICAGO – A woman was arrested Sunday after confessing to shooting a man on Chicago’s Southwest Side. Chicago police said the 26-year-old female suspect was in a vehicle with a 35-year-old man around 12:10 am in the 3400 block of West 79th Street when she shot the victim in both legs. When police arrived on scene the suspect admitted to the shooting and was taken into custody. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition. Police are investigating.
