CHICAGO – A man allegedly threw a dog off a CTA platform in Lake View Thursday. Chicago police said 43-year-old Demetrice Spencer, of Chicago, allegedly threw a dog to its death from the CTA platform in the 3400 block of North Paulina Street onto the concrete below. Spencer has been charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
