Man Charged With Attempted Murder After Pushing Woman On To CTA Rails

CHICAGO – A man has been charged with attempted murder Tuesday after pushing a woman off a CTA platform on the Near North Side.  Prosecutors said Ashley Goss, 39, of Chicago, was arrested around 10:12 pm after he allegedly pushed a 23-year-old woman onto the electrified rails at the Chicago Red Line station in the 800 block of North State Street. After fleeing the crime scene, Goss was arrested in the first block of East Chicago Avenue.  His next court appearance is expected Wednesday.
