Teen Shot In Face On CTA

CHICAGO – A teen was shot in the face while traveling on the CTA Redline on Sunday in South Loop.  Chicago police said the shooting occurred a little after 2:00 am near the Cermak-Chinatown stop in the 100 block of Cermak Road.  The 16-year-old male victim was wounded in the ear and eye.  The victim was taken to an area hospital and is listed in serious condition.  Police have released surveillance footage of the suspect.
