CHICAGO – A Chicago man has been charged Saturday in the attempted carjacking of a woman by knifepoint in South Shore on Friday. According to police, Theodore Ammons, 26, was arrested in the 7800 block of South Odlesby Avenue moments after attempting to carjack a 29-year-old female victim in the 2300 block of East 79th Street.
