CHICAGO – A woman was arrested Monday after allegedly stealing a bag of money outside a North Side bank.
According to Chicago police, around 12:30 pm, a woman allegedly stole a bag containing cash from a Brinks armored truck in the 5700 block of North Broadway outside of a Chase Bank.
In daring fashion, the female suspect fled the scene but was quickly captured by Chicago police in the 1100 block of West Granville Avenue. Police recovered the money sack, which is rumored to have contained $200,000.
Charges are pending.
