CHICAGO – Chicago Police have issued an alert about a string of violent armed robberies on Chicago’s West and Northwest Sides
The CPD alert reported that 15 armed robberies have been reported across Humboldt Park, East Garfield Park, and Austin since late October. One victim reported being pistol-whipped during a robbery, while another reported being shot at during another robbery.
CPD reported robberies took place in the following locations:
- 2:23 am October 21 in the 3400 block of West Huron Street in East Garfield Park
- 6:50 am October 21 in the 1000 block of North Trumbull Avenue in Humboldt Park
- 6:55 am October 21 in the 1100 block of North Monticello Avenue in Humboldt Park
- 7:00 am October 21 in the 1100 block of North Monticello Avenue in Humboldt Park
- 6:00 am on Oct 26 in the 1000 block of North Lawndale Avenue in Humboldt Park
- 6:30 am October 26 in the 3500 block of West Thomas Street in Humboldt Park
- 5:43 am October 29 in the 1000 block of North Central Park Avenue in Humboldt Park
- 6:00 am October 29 in the 500 block of North Springfield in East Garfield Park
- 8:00 am October 29 in the 3300 block of West Huron Street in East Garfield Park
- 8:52 am October 29 in the 3700 block of West Huron Street in East Garfield Park
- 1:12 am November 4 in the 1000 block of North Pulaski Road in Humboldt Park
- 1:39 am November 4 in the 700 block of South Cicero Avenue in Austin
- 9:10 pm November 4 in the 1000 block of North Lawndale Avenue in Humboldt Park
- 1:30 pm November 6 in the 600 block of North St. Louis Avenue in East Garfield Park
- 1:50 pm November 6 in the 600 block of North St. Louis Avenue in East Garfield Park
