CHICAGO – A woman was shot dead and a man was wounded while driving on DuSable Lake Shore Drive Tuesday.
According to police, around 1:20 pm the two victims were driving southbound in the 4500 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive when shots were fired.
The 26-year-old victim was shot in the head, and the 31-year-old victim was wounded in the torso and legs.
Both victims were taken to an area hospital where they were initially listed in critical condition. The female victim was later pronounced dead.
Police are still investigating.
