SCHAUMBURG, IL – Attorney General Kwame Raoul announced the arrest of ten individuals allegedly involved in retail robberies at popular suburban shopping malls.
According to authorities, 42-year-old Tiffany Kindred, of New York, and 27-year-old Shaneka Monroe, of New Jersey were arrested at the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. Both were found in possession of over $3,000 worth of stolen Apple merchandise.
Another pair were also arrested at Woodfield Mall for shoplifting. 33-year-old Amelia Smith, of Palatine, and 28-year-old Arnold Misher, of Chicago, allegedly shoplifted items at The Gap. Police also discovered stolen merchandise in their vehicle.
Police arrested four armed and masked suspects at Gurnee Mills Mall, three of which were juveniles. In addition, police arrested two individuals at Oak Brook Mall in Oak Brook.
