EVANSTON, IL — A gunman shot a man in Evanston Thursday afternoon.
According to Evanston police, at 4:30 pm, officer responded to a shooting in the 1900 block of Dempster Street. When police arrived on scene both the suspect and victim had fled.
The victim was later found in the 1100 block of Lake Street and later transported to a local hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition.
Police said the suspect is still at large.
