NAPERVILLE, IL – According to Naperville police, a local convenience store was robbed at gun point.
Approximately at 4 am on Saturday, Naperville police responded to an armed robbery at a store in the 1400 block of E Chicago Ave. According to police, the suspect brandished a firearm and pointed it at several store employees and demanded cigarettes and cash. The suspect then fled the scene and officers searched the area.
No one is in custody and police are asking for help identify the suspect. The suspect is described as a Black male in his early 20s with a thin body type. Witnesses said the suspect was wearing a mask and a hooded sweatshirt along with a dark backpack.
