CHICAGO – Two eyeglass stores were robbed in the downtown area.
According to Chicago police, thieves targeted two eyeglass stores and stole designer eyeglass frames by conducting a smash and grabbed operation.
The first burglary occurred last Wednesday around 4 am at a Lenscrafters located at 225 North Michigan Avenue.
The second burglary occurred in the 100 block of North State Street on Friday around 3L15 am, according to Chicago police.
