CHICAGO — Two Chicago men have been arrested for the murder of a 23-year-old man and the wounding of an 18-year-old in West Woodlawn back in June 2021.
Chicago police arrested Armani Bell, 31, and Freddrick Welch, 33, for the murder of the 23-year-old in the 6200 block of South Evans on June 17. Both suspects face charges of first-degree murder and attempted first degree murder.
Bell was arrested in the 6400 block of South Bishop. Welch was arrested in Mount Sterling, Illinois. Both are expected in bond court Wednesday.
