CHICAGO – A 12-year-old boy was murdered Sunday night while sitting on a bed in a home in Englewood.
At 11:25 p.m., the 12-year-old was sitting in a bedroom in a home in the 5500 block of South Aberdeen Street when someone he knew shot him in the chest, according to police.
According to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, the child was taken by paramedics to Comers Children Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No one was taken into custody.
