BELVIDERE, IL – Belvidere police are investigating the murder of a man and his two sons.
According to police on Monday, Andrew Hintt, 31, and his two sons, 5 and 7, died from gunshot wounds.
Investigators found four shell casings at the crime scene.
The bodies of Hintt and his sons were discovered Sunday after officers made a well-being check. Belvidere police have declared the investigation a triple homicide.
Police are searching for Hintt’s vehicle, a silver or gray 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk with Illinois registration: CT92923.
