CHICAGO — An 18-year-old male was shot numerous times while driving on Lake Shore Drive on Tuesday night.
The victim was inside his vehicle in the 800 block of N. Lake Shore Drive at 7:30 p.m. when an unknown vehicle drew up alongside the victim and opened fire, according to Chicago police.
According to CPD, the victim was struck numerous times in the body and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
No suspects are in custody.
All northbound lanes on Lake Shore Drive were closed as of 9 p.m.
