CHICAGO – In a sad turn of events, a man was beaten to death while putting up Christmas decorations with his daughter.
According to Chicago police, Jose Tellez was attacked on his property in the 3500 block of West 58th Street around 6:30 p.m. CPD has only referred to the suspects as being male and have not released a motive for the murder.
According to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Tellez was transferred to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he died at 10:32 p.m. Tellez is survived by his wife and three children.
