CHICAGO — According to Chicago police, Darius Love, 27, was discovered on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the head in the 8000 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue in the Chatham area last Tuesday at about 12:40 p.m.
According to University of Chicago Medical Center, Love passed away from his injuries on Sunday.
No suspects are in custody.
