Suspects Wanted For CTA Red Line Station Robbery

CHICAGO — Two male suspects are being sought by Chicago police after they allegedly robbed a person inside an elevator at a CTA Red Line station in River North.

According to CPD, the suspects approached the victim inside the elevator at the Grand Avenue CTA Red Line station around 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 24 and demanded cash.  The suspects rummaged through the victims’ belongings and fled with an unknown amount of money.

CPD described the suspects as Black males in their late twenties to early thirties.  One suspect was in a wheelchair and dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, and black shoes.  The second suspect was dressed in an olive or gray jacket, a black top, a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, and black pants.
