DES MOINES, IA — Deere & Co. and United Auto Workers officials have reached a third preliminary contract agreement, which will be voted on Wednesday by members who have been on strike for four weeks.
The UAW said Friday night that the potential agreement with Deere & Co. “includes modest modifications” to the previous rejected deal, which included immediate 10% raises.
The contract covers over 10,000 Deere & Co. employees at 12 facilities in Iowa, Illinois, and Kansas.
