OAK PARK, IL – An Elmwood Park man crashed his vehicle into an Oak Park bicycle shop Thursday night.
At 10:18 p.m., David Cross, 44, slammed his vehicle into Barnard’s Schwinn Cyclery LTD located 6109 W. North Ave.
Oak Park police responded after hearing the crash and were able to rescue Cross from the accident scene. Cross was taken to a local hospital for treatment and later charged with driving under the influence.
