CHICAGO — On Monday, the official Chicago Christmas tree arrived downtown marking the first signs of the Christmas season. The tree was donated by the Benavides family from the Logan Square neighborhood. On November 18, the city will hold its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Millennium Park.
Chicago event planners announced there will be more space for the event and multiple viewing stations with large screens located throughout the Millennium Park. In addition, there will be fireworks and a concert by singer-songwriter Brian McKnight.
