CHICAGO – What started as a peaceful Sunday morning filled with promise was suddenly ended for a 22-year-old woman who was gunned down in the city’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood.
According to Chicago police, the victim was standing outside in the 7600 block of South Morgan Street shortly after 10:25 a.m. when another woman began firing rounds at the victim. The victim was shot in head and was later pronounced dead at University of Chicago Hospital.
No suspects are in custody.
