PARAMEDIC GRAZED BY BULLET WHILE IN ER AT STROGER

CHICAGO — According to police, a Chicago Fire Department paramedic was injured while attending to a patient in the emergency room at Stroger Hospital.  The paramedic was caring for a patient when shots were fired by an unknown perpetrator driving an older model green Buick.  The bullet grazed the bill of the paramedic’s hat.  The paramedic’s condition, age, and gender are currently unknown.  No suspects are in custody.
