HARVE, MT — According to the KXLY TV station, 3 passengers have been killed in an Amtrak train running between Seattle and Chicago that derailed Saturday in central Montana. The train derailed between the Havre and Shelby stops in Montana. Passengers’ reports and photographs show cars that have flipped off the tracks. The train is the Empire Builder line, which runs between Seattle and Chicago with a stop in Spokane, Washington.
According to Amtrak, there were 147 passengers and 13 crew members onboard.
