WANTED: CPD SEEK MAN WHO ROBBED PASSENGERS AT KNIFE POINT ON CTA TRAIN

CHICAGO — Chicago police hunting for a suspect who robbed two passengers on a CTA Green Line train in the Loop at knife point.

CPD stated the robbery occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 when a male suspect approached two passengers on the CTA Green Line at Roosevelt Road.  The suspect demanded an unknown amount of money before fleeing in the first block of East Roosevelt Road.

The marauding suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 20 and 30.  According to the alert, he was wearing a black White Sox beanie, a neon yellow “Staff Quick” t-shirt with gray sleeves, black sweat pants, and black gym shoes.
