CHICAGO — Police are looking for a gunman who fired shots and hit a man along the busy Lakefront Trail.
The 28-year-old victim was sitting on the bike path near DuSable Lake Shore Drive and Chicago Avenue around 7:15 p.m. Monday night when he heard shots and felt pain, according to CPD. The victim was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and is listed in good condition.
There is no clear motive for the shooting and no suspect has been arrested. The shooting comes toward the end of another weekend of gun violence plaguing Chicago.
