KANKAKEE, IL — A shooting near the Kankakee County Courthouse on Thursday morning killed two people and injured another. The shooting happened around 9:15 am near the courthouse’s south side entrance. One suspect with a gun was arrested and a second suspect was apprehended by sheriff’s deputies. The two unnamed victims were males in their twenties. A third victims taken to a local hospital.
