HOUSTON – Two children take control of vehicle after seeing their father fatally shot while driving in Houston Friday night. According to the Houston police, an unidentified man was driving eastbound on I-10 when two boys, aged 7 and 10, heard what they thought was a rock hitting the windshield. The boys reportedly saw their father slump over after that. Instinctively, the two boys grabbed the steering wheel and guided the car off the freeway and into the grass near East Freeway Service Rd and Holland St. The boys fled and sought assistance from a customer leaving a Chili’s restaurant.
