KABUL — According to a US colonel in the 82nd Airborne Division, Maj. Gen. Christopher Donahue told his British Army counterpart, a high-ranking field-grade officer with the British army’s 22nd Special Air Service Regiment, that British operations were embarrassing the US military in the absence of comparable US military operations.
British sources have said they will not comply with the request since they are here to rescue British citizens, not take orders from embarrassed American generals that are hampered by political and military authorities.
As the situation grows worse around the Hamid Karzai Airport in Kabul and throughout the county, US military personnel are increasing becoming hampered by military and political leaders in Washington causing a dramatic slowdown in the American rescue effort. The main problem is lack of communication between the White House, the Pentagon, and Allied Forces.
On the other hand, the British and other allies have a clear mission with the freedom to carry it out in due course to rescue their citizens. In some cases, the US has become dependent on our allies to rescue American citizens while waiting for orders from the Biden administration. Let us be clear, the problem is not US soldiers on the ground, but the ineptitude of the top leadership.
Maj. Gen. Christopher Donahue, a real chicken hawk. Stay safely inside the confines of Kabul airport and let the real soldiers rescue people outside. The Brits got it right, you? Not at all.

For the most part, this is accurate, painfully so. Brits, particularly SAS, have a history of daringly exploiting any chance of succeeding in a firefight, small to midrange. They lose a few but have won all the rest. Obama got rid of so many fine combat experienced senior US officers that today all you see is a circus of indecision and misdeeds in Kabul because Austin and Miley typify those that survived the Obama purges. Donahue was my company commander when I was in A. Co 2/75. The first night I was there, I heard endless talk about the ‘n_gger Sergeant Major’ (CSM Roberts) and one Ranger then talks about Holocaust denial… Sgt Neal Lynch called his Fire Team ‘Aryan Team’, I saw someone reading ‘The Turner Diaries’, the words, ‘k_ke’, ‘n_gger’, and ‘sp_ck’ were probably the most important words in the English language in the company, and on Foal Eagle 2020 in Korea, the platoon sergeant SFC John ‘Heavy D’ Debusk got drunk and called the Koreans ‘gooks’, ‘slants’ etc. Either Donahue didn’t take the time and effort to know what was going on in his company, or he did know, and just didn’t care. Nonetheless, he went from a company commander in 2nd Aryan to the CG of the 82nd.
